Errors -800097 and -800098 mean IPv6 is disabled on your device. Parsec requires IPv6 to be enabled even if your network uses IPv4.
Enable IPv6 on Windows
- Press Windows + R, type
ncpa.cpland press Enter. - Right click your active network adapter and select Properties.
- Tick Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
- Click OK and restart Parsec.
Changing this setting requires administrator rights. If your computer is managed by an IT department, IPv6 may be disabled by policy and you will need them to enable it.
If IPv6 is already ticked and the error persists, your router or network may be blocking it. See Parsec Connectivity Requirements, or Error -6112 if your operating system does not support IPv6 at all.
