As of September 3, 2019, new Parsec users will no longer have the option to rent cloud computers. If you already have credits in your account on that date, you will have the option to keep adding credits and renting machines until January 1, 2020. After January 1, you will no longer be able to add credits to your account, and you will need to use your credits entirely by February 1, 2020. One of Parsec's cloud providers Paperspace offers incredible value for money. Paperspace offers high performance cloud machines from only 40 cents per hour. Because of this great value, they sometimes run out of capacity at peak times.
How to tell your machine is unable to start due to Paperspace being at full capacity.
Red Exclamation / Provider out of capacity - you will be unable to start your machine because we automatically disable the start button until there is sufficient capacity
What should you do if you get either of these errors?
- Do wait several hours for other gamer's to finish their gaming session
- Do try another day
- If you are fine with an increased cost per hour and needing to re-download your games and apps, delete your Paperspace machine and create an AWS cloud machine.
- Don't delete your current machine and try launch the same type of Paperspace machine in the same region - it will not work until capacity issues subside
When are peak times?
Peak times are normally in the weekend evenings in the Paperspace server region you are using, but could happen at any time.
