Error 5 means your session was ended by a kick. There are three ways this happens.

• The host clicked Kick next to your name to end your session.
• You clicked Kick next to your own name, ending your own session.
• You clicked Turn Off Hosting on the host computer. This ends all sessions and prevents new connections until hosting is turned back on.

How to disconnect properly

• Click Disconnect in the Parsec overlay.
• Windows client: Alt + F4
• macOS client: Command + W to close the window, or Command + Q to quit Parsec
• Raspberry Pi and Linux: Ctrl + Alt + ~
